Taken in the square. Can you spot Dad?

We saw a protest. Not quite sure what they were protesting about though😂

Dad pretending he's part of it 😂

Next stop Museo del Prado

Was late by the time we headed home. So many people out and about. Quite unbelievable!

Back on the bus this morning and first stop was St. Paul's Cathedral. Hard to get a good photo as its so big!  The inside was amazing.  This is were Prince Charles and Lady Di were married.

Back on the bus. Next stop Buckingham Palace.

And the good old selfie!

Thought we really should go and see Harrods. Didn't take any photos inside but here are some of the window displays

My favorite the knitting mouse

The last stop of the day ...Victoria Palace Theatre to watch Billy Elliott. This was amazing.  I could have sat there and watched it all over again!

London

A great 1st day in London today. We hopped on the subway and headed for the sights. First stop the National Gallery. Wow amazing! Lots of photos at Trafalgar Square then off to find a tour bus. Lots of sights - Big Ben, St Paul's cathedral. Next stop The Tower of London. What an amazing place. We did a tour here. There were over 800,000 poppies in the grounds commemorating 100 years since World War 1. Each poppy signified a life lost in the war. Then off on a boat trip which ended just below Big Ben. Back on the bus to the British Library. The day started off drizzling and ended up without a cloud in the sky ... Amazing ☀️
